Like the Poll says we now have more than 150 network adapters feeding our boxes. I bet a lot more boxes will be hooked up if people now where to get the right adapter and how much it will set them back.

Me for example I got a wireless adapter at the shop next door for 10 bucks here in Amsterdam. I cannot seem to find that Belkin or LevelOne Gigabit usb ethernet adapter in my area though. It is on amazon.com, but they wont ship it across the water for me. This page on the WDTV Wiki already gave us the list with supported network hardware:

http://wiki.wdtv.org/doku.php?id=supported_usb_devices&DokuWiki=5d176d3265f2c7f12d6cdf80bad99c28

Please share the place where you got your WDTV network adapter and how much MoNeY you had to pay for it.

Thanx a lot :D

Thanx for the link. Where/when did you buy the Belkin?

From FileZilla I know this zd1211b unit does a top speed of about 2 MBytes per second. It depends a lot on the environment though. When I take my box to a friends place it sits right next to a Belkin router but does not get any better than a 2-300 MB/s. At home I can watch Apple Trailers @ 480p running smoothly.

You should be shopping at Amazon UK & Amazon Germany, not the US address. Saves you shipping and it's 100% sure you don't have to pay import duties.
My adapter is in my sig. It's around 16 with the current currency conversion.

 8) Bought an apple usb network adapter today at MediaMarkt Eindhoven for EUR 29,95. It worked right out of the box bag.

That's $42 :o  You could've bought an adapter for half that price.
Or did you start this thread with the intention to buy the most expensive adapter you could find? :)
