For the long time I didn't have any problems with mkv files until now.
I have two movies 1080p which are crashing. Probably because of large bitrate.
There are some scenes that WD can't play smooth .

Were you playing the movie with the subs on? This happened to me too and when I turned off the subs it played fine.

Yes, with the subs on.

The point is that if you playing again 1080p with high bitrate and subs it happends again.
Please fix this problem !!!

It might be impossible to fix.  The high-res and high bitrate combined with drawing subs on the screen might be too much for the hardware to handle gracefully.

Just throwing that out there.  You can't expect that little tiny black box to have magical super-powers.  At some point it is going to reach an upper-limit, and you might have found it.

Maybe.  Just a guess.

Yes, but I think that WD is very close to pefrect.

" The Dark Knight " 1080p works really almost well so the "Underworld " should as well.
You can do that WD guys :D !!!

I have the same issue
I installed ubuntu and shared my files with samba and it fixed my problem.
Browsing and playback is even more responsive.
