Hey guys,
i was wondering if anyone could give me a hand with this.
Up to a few days ago, everything was completely fine, but then i started having problems.
Whenever i transferred new files to my Hitachi XL3000 3TB XL Desktop External Hard Drive HXSDNB3001, especially mkv if not only mkv, everything transferred correctly, but when i try to play them on the WDTV G2 with firmware 1.01.77, which i believe is the latest; It gives the error "Unable to play the selected file. Please refer to the users manual to see the list of supported formats." or something like that. I saw in another post that they recommend downgrading/upgrading the firmware. I tried but since i have the latest firmware i cannot upgrade. And as for the downgrading i am unable to find the older firmwares.

I also saw that someone said that the firmware was unix based and it may have a limit for the media files allowed which i may have exceeded now. Is there an unnoficial firmware that solves this problem?

Any kind of help is greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
