I have the WD TV Live Plus and I forgot to bring my remote. Are there ANY options for getting this working?

I do not know which version I am running, but it is fairly up to date. I remember updating it a few months ago.

I do not have a network to plug the WD TV into, but could create one if necessary. Looks like any iPhone app that might work, would require it being plugged into a network.

I read that a keyboard would work, but would love it if someone could confirm before I go and buy one.

A USB keyboard will do most of what you want...not sure it can do everything but it will surely help.
Windows 7 Ultimate with SP1
WDTV Live
1.02.21 WDLXTV 0.5.1.4 (Beta)
Linksys - WUSB600N USB Adapter
DLink - Dir-655 Router
Atheros - AR8131 PCI-E Gigabit Ethernet Controller (NDIS 6.20)
XBMC - The Future of Television

you can get a remote off ebay for 15 bucks or so, if you are going to be away a while that may be an option.
You laugh because Iím different, I laugh because youíre all the same.
