A bit off topic but I ordered one of these HP touchpads to see what kind of video support it has.

I figure for $100 I can't go wrong.  :D

I know it does not support the MKV container out of the box but I may be a able to re-wrap them in an MOV container without re-encoding.

:)

I love it!  Just converted Star Wars Ep IV to it from the new BR.   Looks and sounds amazing.  This will be great for when I go to the gym.   Resolution is roughly 720p which is obviously plenty for a 9 inch screen :)   Image quality seems to be the same as the iPad and it only plays MOV and mv4 format files but I was able to convert MKVs to that no problem.

I signed up for the waiting list for these, but I don't expect I'll ever get one. Oh well, it's just another toy that my youngest son would end up borrowing.
