Hi there, is it possible to tell WDTV to ignore certain folders on external media? I have a 3 TB external with about 100 movies, and 30000 pics. I don't want to see the pics!!!
Because of this, the start up scan takes about a half hour. Can I edit a config file in the WD folder on the drive and tell something to not scan certain directories?

If this has already been covered, my apologies, may i then have the link?

Thx. :D

The only way I've heard of is to start the folder name with a period such as .pictures
Linux (which the WDTV BusyBox is a variant of) will ignore folders starting with a period.
That means that you won't see it anywhere though.
