I've had my WD TV Live for a while.
Turns out it didn't network very well with a Freecom NAS I have. When I say not very well, I mean it doesn't.

Regardless, that's never going to happen - WD knew about the issue ages ago (I told them) and haven't fixed it in any firmware.

So I'm going to get a Buffalo Linkstation Live (model LS-CH2.0TL) to use a NAS on my network as it has a built in usb print server and torrent client.
Anyway, it is DLNA certified - is the WD TV Live?

Will they play nice? I know about setting up the workgroup names as WORKGROUP etc

I had linkstation live (HS-DH320GL if I remember correctly). I installed twonky on it and was quite happy with this setup. both wdtv live and ps3 worked fine with it.
