Hey Ron,

Have you tested this? Does it work with our MSheet from Cylent?

Or it will crash like it is saying in the post?

Thanks

I tried it. Moviesheets don't work unfortunately.
If you only use the showcase.osd.bin (so remove the event-osd.app.bin from root) no problems.
Give it a try, it's really nice to see the tv switch resolution or framerate to match the videofile.

So what is the Even.osd really?

Is it to create the Sheet (not shit, lol) looking??

Because I thought the Showcase.osd was for that.

It is strange because if I use Auto the image quality (black, colors, etc) looks really nice.

Now if I switch manually to 1080p/24 for example, I loose the whole black stuff and need to manually re-config the tv.

Will it happen with this BIN?

I am no expert (so things might not be completely accurate) , but as I see it :

* the osd.bin is for the looks : osd = on screen display
* the event-osd "knows" where you are in the menu, what keys you pressed, what the box is doing etc. See here : http://wdtv.elmarweber.org/index.php/tag/event-osd
* Msheet uses event-osd to display the correct sheet

No idea, sorry. Give it a try and you'll know.  ;)

I will man!!

But thanks though!!   ;D

Last question... do I need to remove the MSheet from the pendrive?

Or just by putting this one it will work and stop MSheet on it own.

Msheet can stay where it is on the pendrive.

Event-osd can't be in the root of the pendrive.
What I did was move it inside a folder on the pendrive (so wdlxtv can't find it at boot)
