Hi,
I like to know if networking can be done with WDTV gen2. I have flashed my box with new update from B-rad. I tried few times to add my "Airlink 6057 adapter" and I can'e see in net.config. file. If I want to add this driver then how do I do? I just came across from this forum describing ow to add driver but I get confused. I have downloaded all software (VM ware etc...) but I am not sure how to start? Can some one help me to start?

Thanks

I Just installed the firmware mentioned here
http://wdtvforum.com/main/index.php?topic=7011.0

It picked up my network adapter straight away (Had previously tried with Brads firmware with no luck) Not the same as yours but it may well have the driver for yours built in as well
Adding a driver is not straightforward unless you really know your linux

I have installed this firmware and it works great. I'm using a cheap Ebay Lionsgate usb adapter with an antenna. the wdtv it's seen in the DHCP list(shows unknown) and the LED it's blinking on the adapter, but not sure what to do next to share a folder from a pc?
any help would be appreciated.

I have played with the settings and I can access the WDTV's files from my pc, but I can't do the same thing backwards.
nothing shows from the pc on the WDTV's screen.
what has to be done to achieve this?
any help would be appreciated.
