I don't think WD wants to pay the license fees involved in bring DTS-HD MA to the WD.  The retail cost of the box would go to at least $200.00.   They want to keep the retail price where it is.

Apparently the WDTV Live Hub passes DTS-HD MA ?

WDTV LIVE with current official FW > HDMI > DVDO > Sony CRT Projector 150" 16/9 screen.  Toslink audio to Yamaha DTS receiver. No Network set up yet.

Apparently the WDTV Live Hub passes DTS-HD MA ?

The Hub? Not for anyone that I've seen test it.  Depending on the container, some of the WDTV devices will pass the DTS core out of a DTS-MA signal.  The last test, the Hub passed no audio at all from a .m2ts when it had DTS-MA, not even the core.

Even the Elements Play, which isn't licenced to decode DTS at all, will pass the DTS core out of DTS-MA.
