Who else cant pause & play HD movies without it then going out of sync?


Is there any solution to this?

yeah same here bro  idont think thats a fixable thing i also have gen2. best thing is to just hit stop instead of pause. if you pause it will not go back into sync no matter how much you stop and play. lucky though that it remembers your play position after stopping it as long as you dont power cycle.  pausing can also freeze the machine and make you have to power cycle. so just hit stop from now on.

i found that mostly brrips end up going out of sync

the normal raw hd format (huge file size) usually works fine when ffw, rewinding, & pause & playing

i have tons of mkv rips between 4 and 15 gigs. never had a problem with a 720p rip and i have only had the sync problem after pausing or ffwd. however .mp4 seems to be a big prob for wdtv g2. goes out of sync without a pause or anything i used mkvmerge and put the mp4 into mkv no more problem!

same here. its really annoying...
the stop hint is a good one, it works with this workaround.

what about other firmwares? alternative ones?
could they solve this ?
