My WVTV Live plays my 24-Bit FLAC files with no problem. But does anyone know if it downsamples them to 16-Bit, or simply truncates the extra 8 bits, or perhaps something else?
Thanks!

***UPDATE*** WD support has confirned that the WDTV Live does indeed play 24-bit, but it downsamples them from 96 to 48mhz.

Hmm- was this on movies?  I've had my wdtv live for two weeks and the only videos I have problems with (besides truehd or course), are the ones that have 24/48 bit flac audio (sound cuts in and out and eventually stops all together)..  The ones that I have that are only 16 bit play fine?  I was led to believe that 24 bit is a known issue- is this wrong?

Anyone got a 24 bit flac movie they could try on theirs and see if it works?
