Let's say I copy a new file to my nfs-share, should I then unplug and plug power on wdtv to get files refreshed?

I did test this

restart NFS service  without accessing NFSshare during this time also lease NFSshare directory on WDTV
probly you will lost mounted share and you have to use shell for manual remount

safe and fast solution is

have script unmount on WDTV PCNFS share
restart WINDOWS SFU services
and mount again NFS share

this will flush any cached data from memory

Thx mate,

When I copy files to mountet NFS called HDD1, if I then go one folder back on wdtv, and back again the file list is updated with the new file :-D
It works like a charm, running "ext3-boot-0.8.6"  8)
