Here's a good drive.
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16822136400
but WD now includes virtual drive and backup software on there external drives, that is a pain in the ass to remove, you have to download a removal tool from WD

or my next choice

only thing I don't like about the seagates are they go to sleep, it makes browsing moves, etc slow, every time I change drives the wdtvlive is pointed at I have to wait for the drives to wake up

Hi All,

Have people been able to use 2TB External USB Drives with success on the WDTV?

Also have people been able to hook up two 2TB HDD drives to both USB ports?

I know when installing a 2TB drive (or anything above 1.6TB) on my computer it required an update of hard drive drivers.

2TB HDD's are not a problem, I've got 1 running. any size HDD should be fine. I've got a 1TB, 2x 1.5TB, & a 2TB all plugged in via USB Hub, no problems
