As mentioned in a few posts, 1.02.21 firmware has a new "feature".
In case one has several computers in the network, WDTV Live does remember the login/password only for the last visited share, thus rendering the device unusable.

I couldn't expect this sloppiness from official firmware so I upgraded.

Now I have a problem: where to get the previous official firmware from and how to downgrade?

The forum has a nice "search"-function.

Download firmware (google or search this forum), edit the wdtvlive.ver and change the version to a number that is higher than your current installed (for example: 1.05.12 or 1.02.22 or sth like that - this is only for new firmware detection), insert usb device, that's it.
