I've recently purchased my WDTV Live HD to replace my Netgear EVA8000. I have all my media on a Netgear ReadyNAS NV+, with a separate share for each media type.

I've successfully hooked it all up and the WDTV has access to all the media on the NAS via network shares. However it shows all of the shared folders in all of the categories - e.g. when I select Video I see the folders containing video, mp3s and photos. The same is true for Music and Photos, I see all of the shared folders.

The EVA8000 used to work out what sort of media was in what folder and only list the folders relevant to the category that I had selected. I was rather hoping that the WDTV would also do this but it appears not to - is there a way to make it do this, am I missing something?

Any help appreciated :)
