hello, is there anyone who can tell me how to make subtitles files from iso an vob files?
i have a new wd tv live for one week now. its works perfect but only the subtitles wont work.
can someone tell me step by step how it works? the iso file is one file and how do i extract it to look for the subs file?
witch software must i download.
i hope that there is a faq about this problem, but i cant find it.

Subtitles in the vob are actually images. So you have to OCR them to get a text file.
Use SubRip (free) http://zuggy.wz.cz/ to extract subtitles from the vob. Save them to a file (UTF-8 format) with the same name as your movie and extention '.srt'.
Normally the text is in sync with the movie. If not use Jubler (free) http://www.jubler.org/ to manipulate the .srt file.
