Hi, I'd like to be able to display contents of MP3 folder without turning on my TV each time (display on monitor). Unfortunately monitor only has VGA. So I'm looking for a method to convert either HDMI or composite output from the media player to VGA input for my monitor. Can anybody help me out here, please, I'm new to a lot of this stuff, I've heard of „convertor boxes“ for composite-VGA. Obliged for any help

Thank you, that's exactly what I need....only at these prices I might consider a second (older-model) media player with VGA out

:-)

Found a few cheaper on ebay.  Cheapest in the UK was £28.  Slightly cheaper ones from HK but then extra hassle if things go wrong and longer wait.
