I've a WD TV Live with firmware 1.01.24 and i'm logged in to my youtube-account.
Problem is: I can only play half of my favourites, because the other half brings up that error:

"This video is restricted by the video content owner and it is not available on TV connected devices."

Well ... sure they have a reason for that, but i still have to ask: Is there a workaround for that?
Alternative/Older Firmware ?

Thanks in advance

I am running the original firmware from Oct. 09 and have no problems. Reinstall it.
Running Win 7 Ultimate 64 and no problems anywhere.

Thanks for your comment mrbill.

I have a similar issue. Do you know how I can remove/undo latest firmware?

I tried resetting the device a few times, but it does not take it back to earlier firmware version. Can someone help with any insights please? Thx

If enough do this Youtube will probably block WDTV devices.
If you think there is something wrong with your WD device contact them and then act upon that: Either wait or move on - don't whine here - this is not WD's board. If you have a problem, start a thread and ask - perhaps someone knows the answer.

Wh do they block it? so i have to walk to my computer? Makes no sense to me. I can look at it anyway...

How can they see it's a wdtv? doesn't youtube have a general API you can use?
