It seems that WD have switched from ARPHIC's Bitmap font to  HiFont rendering engines, giving all the gimmicks requested (fancy outlines, thicknesses - colors etc) at the expense of the newly (1.02.00 onwards) developed issues.

Personally, don't need it.
It seems that it isn't a WD issue but a ARPHIC one.
Lets wait and see.

Cheers

Hello, after opening the font pack in wd I see the this content
Quote
SinoFont Version 1.1 (C)Copyright Eastern Graphics Technology Corp...1991-1993, All Right Reserved

And base on that I see WD use these fonts: AR HiFont EJGBK, LinGothic-Medium
