Given below are my 3 probability questions and my own answers.

Q1: What is the probability that WD officials will post/give some kind of "Status Update on FW upgrade" in next 3 to 5 days in this forum?
A1: 100%
My satisfaction level: I will be more than happy!

Q2: What is the probability that WD will release another Beta in next 3 to 5 days?
A2: 75%
My satisfaction level: I will be happy!

Q3; What is the probability that WD TV will release official Final FW upgrade in next 3 to 5 days?
A3: Part 1: 50% with majority of bugs fixed with hardly any new features
A3: Part 2: 10% with majority bugs fixed and some new features
A3: Part 3: 0% with ALL bugs fixed and some new Features with no additional bugs.
My satisfaction level: I don't want raise my hopes!

If all of my probability answers are wrong in other words even my 1st answer is wrong than my satisfaction level about WD's Customer service is "Yes, you guessed it right"

Thanks for reading

LoL... obviously some people don't realize that Lilibabe isn't a WD employee and the fact that YouPorn was mentioned should be a huge red flag  :-P  I got a kick out of your post though.  :)

Overall I do agree with d3vil though that basic functionality should be #1 priority. I'm starting to feel like search and DVD/bluray menus should be considered basic functionality, but as a close second in priority to the ability to stream everything flawlessly.

Also, I'm not sure what you mean by using the remote to advance forward/back on the file because I'm pretty sure that what you're asking for is there. If you press fast forward and then press the "next file" button it'll skip ahead and back 10 minutes for every time you press it. I think that part works very well and I have no complaints about it.

If it is a joke, I don't think it's apropriate, because I don't think a Hero Member should make jokes like this when a lot of people are really looking forward to the official release.

And I would realy realy realy like the Youporn feature.....  :o :-\ :-X :-[ :'(

Well, it should have been pretty clear that it was just a joke. (maybe lilibabe is warming up for April 1st ?)  ;D

But seriously, the Youpxxn feature mentioned is already available if you use the custom firmware and the Playon server running from a PC.

There's actually quite a lot of extras available for the WDTV if you look hard enough.

Very very very true. I like'd the joke myself :D. But somehow I see a lot of frustration in some messages from some people and I think those people already lost their sense of humor on this subject....
There could be a reason for their frustration and maybe youporn was the answer so the were made happier then we can imagine...  ;)

The only reason I'm really looking forward for the official fw is that b-rad will include it in his version. Right now I really miss his features, but I like the beta more :)

I thought it was funny. Very funny.

See, the tip off for me wasn't the YouPorn feature, that seemed pretty reasonable. For me it was

that was suspicious. I'd be surprised if any of the bugs were corrected. </cynicism>

I know about the fast forward and jump 10 minutes, but with other players such as old dvd/divx players there was an option to jump in less time periods just by pressing the right key, such as 10/30seconds
