This might help

Thanks, I have it working now.

I keep seeing on the net that the WDTV Live can scrape IMDB info but I can't figure out how. I have tried searching but all I see is that it is being done. I have searched the menu on the WDLXTV -Live and I can't find a option for it... Does it just do it automatically?

tia,
Ron

I believe they mean the Live Streaming AKA Live Gen 3
Windows 7 Ultimate with SP1
WDTV Live
1.02.21 WDLXTV 0.5.1.4 (Beta)
Linksys - WUSB600N USB Adapter
DLink - Dir-655 Router
Atheros - AR8131 PCI-E Gigabit Ethernet Controller (NDIS 6.20)
XBMC - The Future of Television

Ever since I got the new WD Live Stream I understood that there wasn't a custom firmware. Has this change at all. If so where can I get the DL. Also any ideas when they will allow DTS-HD-MA to be player on the WD Players. It's pretty annoying that it gets downmixed

Not something you can flash like the Live gen1 or the Live + but you can run it from a thumb drive and get pretty good result as I understand.  It is still being developed though so there could be still some bugs.

Read on it and download here

I'm just flabbergasted as to why there aren't more USB wireless adapters that work with the damned thing. Does WDLXTV offer more support for newer devices? The old ones listed on the "compatible list" are all crap. I have no way of hard wiring it even with AV plugs as the throughput is absolutely horrendous.
