Hi guys, new here and just got a wdtv live.

Now I'm using it with a 1tb wd elements USB drive.
I have about 900gb of content in there (music, bd rips, etc).

However I do also use part of the drive for backing up documents (contain thousands of jpegs and some video presentations).

Is there a way of disabling (or even hiding) particular folder trees from being indexed as part of the media library?

I've been searching. But any pointers would be handy.

Thanks!

Hi, Im using USB thanks..
I know it would have been easier to hide folders on a network share:) but unfortunately thats not possible with my current setup.

The only way I know to hide folders and files on a usb connected drive would be to rename them with a "." in front of the name.

backup_folder
renamed to:
.backup_folder
