Yup the Public Release in coming soon  :)
WDTV LIVE with current official FW > HDMI > DVDO > Sony CRT Projector 150" 16/9 screen.  Toslink audio to Yamaha DTS receiver. No Network set up yet.

wouldn't it be nice if when the final comes out and
 zorander and b.rad of course fix it up like we like it ;)

and then perhaps (i know people will hate me for saying this) a  bit of time for the creators of all the great stuff
to be consolidated into the two firmwares....
right now its so disjointed.
i want it all in one package... turn on what i need and turn off what i dont.
perhaps it would add clarity while giving a bit of time to stabilize .
boy i love whats been happening here.

hmm, I wonder if it's not too early for a public release.

They should have at least one pre-release that everybody agrees on that there are no regression bugs. They're close, that's for sure...

But there's at least an issue with subs rendering and cpu usage, causing e.g. greek subs to be completely broken. Also some MKV files take 10-30 seconds to start playing, with subs default on.

Actually, I thought the release was gonna be the same day as the tweet... seems it'll be Monday (maybe)
