Thanks.

Feature request: in batch mode, "original" size images for backdrop should be used first.  IE

            Dim q1 = From c1 In q.Elements("images").Elements("image") _
                    Where c1.Attribute("type") = "backdrop" _
                    And c1.Attribute("size") = "original" _
                   Select c1
If q1.Count = 0 Then ... (use next suitable size)

Many thanks for the great new version!
It's working pretty well for me but I keep coming up with an error for certain movies.
I'm using Windows 7, Pick N Choose mode and have had this error since version 1.5

Specified argument was out of the range of valid values. Parameter name: index
Something went wrong in populateMovieInfo()

Here's a list of a few problem folder names:
Sean Lock Live
Red Is The Color Of
Loss
Tokyo Fist (1995)
Vernon, Florida
Eyes Without a Face
A City of Sadness
84 Charlie Mopic

It fails to import any IMDb data but if I enter in the data manually it usually generates a sheet.
Also, any plans to bring back the "Is this not the right name?" function? It was pretty useful sometimes for entering IMDb numbers.  ;)

Again, awesome work. Thanks so much.

This errors means no backdrops and/or posters could be found for those movies - we will tidy up the error message so it is more obvious.

Theres nothing we can do to "fix" this - if there are no backdrops it will give you an error and you can always download your own and choose it?

1 question, fanart legend. what? how?

Some templates allow you to have a poster, backdrop, and up to 3 fanarts (screenshots) displayed on the moviesheet. The images have to be named EXACTLY a certain way though for this to work, so I dont think its used very often, and not many templates support it.

We will look into this more and see if we should remove the fanart stuff, or maybe work on enhancing it somehow so it is useful.

EDIT: finally found an example : http://www.regeert.nl/wdtv/img/ThumbsMultiplex-Cars.jpg

Thanks for the quick reply!
Yes it does seem like a missing backdrop problem with these, but I also have some movies that have no backdrop available and they come up with the default backdrop from the settings page and pull IMDb info where this seems to often find the IMDb entry but leaves the movie info blank after giving the error.
It's not a huge problem as I can enter the info/backdrop myself but just thought it was odd.  Thanks for tweaking the error message! :)

This version is THE BEST ever released, but two features are gone --> to select another Template in the Pick'n'Choose Area AND to search a Film not Found (e.g. for the IMDB code)

BUG --> If I Don't do a Rating there is the error "Ungültige Zeichenfolge in der Konvertierung von Typ Double" followed by "Error in BtnGenerate_Clicksubroutine"

Keep on the great work on this program --> It's 10 times better then all the other Sheet Generators

BUG!

Batch processing

The Director, Genre and Cast variables are not null'ed after each generation resulting in the next sheet getting all the details from all the last sheets.

We will look into this more and see if we should remove the fanart stuff, or maybe work on enhancing it somehow so it is useful.

EDIT: finally found an example : http://www.regeert.nl/wdtv/img/ThumbsMultiplex-Cars.jpg

To use templates with Fanart: Right-click an image in the 'Available Backdrops' list and you'll see the option to set it as 'Set As Fan Art 1', 'Set As Fan Art 2', or 'Set As Fan Art 3'. No special naming is needed... The fanart will then be highlighted in its corresponding color in the legend. If your template only has 1 image other than the background and the poster, then you only need to choose a 'Set As Fan Art 1'. Choose your fanart before your background or the background will be deselected.

I personally think it would be a step backward to remove 'fanart'! All of the 'Idaho Templates Rev3' except for 'AeonBasicInfo', and the Cylent template I reworked are great examples of how fanart can be used in MSG. Maybe make the selection more obvious or have separate fields for them?

All of these use fanart :
