As far as I'm aware rodfeli's template has not been ported to MSG (it fails with "Parameter is not valid"). It would be nice if somebody with more insight into MSG could have a look at porting this (nice) template.

calling the kind souls out there!! this query is cross-posted in the TVIXIE thread,. Anyone came across the rodfeli (i think!) templates for MSG?
These are available for TViXiE, which i've been using for IMDB found movies, but would like to keep the movie sheet consistent for 'custom' movie sheets which MSG is great for.
Thanks.
Thanks. MSG doesn't implemented all Grafic-Effects from TVixie, for eg. the Glasseffect. And that will not implemented in the near Future. TVixie-Editor will be nice for Editing Templates or create new, but don't use any Graphic-Effects.

Seems like a few people would like to use these w/MSG so here they are: rodfeli template reworked for Movie Sheet Generator- http://www.megaupload.com/?d=XDYNGI75Tests Long Title README included with media flag instructions. The Lilibabe watermark can be removed by deleting line 63 of the .xml entirely. I can make some more flag combinations if people want them and I have time. The ones included came with the original template. Enjoy.

hi frakki The main feature of that template (the TV screen image) is not possible in MSG. As far as I know the interface doesn't allow distorting images in that way, only rectangle/square resizing. That is why I never ported stepps7's template either- without the added effects, it doesn't work. I can look into doing it without, though if you still want it... Lemme know

fantastic @AyDee! Quick question does FANART have to reside "Movie Template" directory (i.e. %PATH%) or is there a way to have the FANART in the directory where the movie is? Thx.

Are you using Movie Sheet Gen.? Fanart is downloaded automatically. Right-click a backdrop and set it to "SET AS FAN ART 1" then choose your backdrop and cover and there you go. You do have to place the media flags for this one in the template folder, though. I'd like to fix that eventually... You can check the 'Cache Download Data' box in the settings tab if you want a copy of the downloaded images. Or if you are just wanting to use custom images you already have, you can hit the 'My Backdrop' button and get an image from anywhere on your computer to use as fanart or a backdrop. Oh, and thanks for the encouragement guys, I may actually start making some templates of my own sometime...

Thx Aydee for the anwser. By distorting you mean that the image fits in the "TV" right? Without this it would be cutted right?
mhmmm. Maybe the msg will support that feature in the future. Thx anyway ..

Aydee, I changed your modified Rodfelli template (thanks btw !) again so that it places the icons detected by the MSG on the same place as where it now shows these 'static, blue media flags'. I've already added it to our program. I'll take it up with the team if we will include it in the next version.

Great! Saves me from having to do it If you don't include it, will you post the .xml here so we can use it? By the way, how do I need to name the '2nd Audio' flag so that it will work? I'd like to make some temp.s w/3 working flags. @frakki: Yes that is what I meant. No problem.

Could you (pre)release your reworked template? I would like to compare it to what I've done ( mine is here.) mvh Allan
