there is on PCB next USB port on back side
also Ethernet port is missing PHY ethernet connection is IO friendly then USB-LAN adapter
and why 2nd HDMI port

anyway distance between TOSLINK and analog ports are not enought
also USB ports have to have little distance avoid colissions between plastic covers of usb keys
(there are standard distance reuired)

What are net analog ports ? ( component or audio ?)
I am sure more usefull will have VGA or DVI-A for monitors or S-VIDEO or special connector with octupus-y like cable
with audio (5.1) special connector  which will save space on back side and keep WDTV still so small and portable

I'd just like to have a HDMI output that sent the digital sound to the television.  My TV has a digital output and it passes all audio to my receiver where it can be processed.  Unfortunately, the WDTV doesn't send that info out except via TOSlink.
