I'm trying to connect my WD TV player with the FullHD TV set by HDMI cable. Everything is ok  when I connect WD TV by composite, but when I plug HDMI cable i see only strange artefacts. What's going on? I tried use HDMI 1.3 and 1.2 cables even another FullHD Tv set.

Dear All,
I have also problem with HDMI visualization (http://yfrog.com/7bimg1zqj).
I can correctly see the WD logo on boot. After that, the box switches to the composite output.
If I try to "force" HDMI output with various resolutions/frequencies I see a black image or an image like the photo.

Can you help me?

ps:
- the firmware is the latest
- the hdmi cable works fine with other devices
- I cut-off 2 mm of plastic around the plug to fit in the hdmi hole better as someone suggests

Thank you!

ciao simone
