I was another victim of the firmware upgrade that "bricked" my WDTV Live.  Just got a replacement and upgraded to the 1.0.11 version that I was running on my old WDTV Live but I can't get the settings to go back to the way it was.

I am using a 32-in Sony WEGA Trinitron TV.  When I first hooked up the WDTV Live the picture would be elongated (on composite, NTSC, widescreen) and I couldn't change the WDTV Live settings to make it work.  Finally, I realized that there was a 16:9 enhanced option on the Sony that fixed that particular problem. However, the resulting picture would use only about 3/4 of the screen and there would be large cutouts on the top and bottom.  I was disappointed and was thinking about returning it when I fiddled with the settings and somehow got it to display a non-elongated picture without have to the turn on the Sony's built-in 16:9 enhanced option.  For the life of me I can't figure out how to set it to do it again.

Is there anyone who has a similar set-up and found a solution?
