Hello all,

First of all, sorry for my English. I'll try to explain in simple way.

I've made some network performance tests to the unit. Only two results:
  • File transfers from PC to WD TV Live via network shares (managed from PC) reach 66,5 Mbps in optimal conditions (WiFi, tried with +20Gb file)
  • If I'll try to play the same file using WD TV Live via Network Shares rate transfer falls to 18,7 Mbps that isn't enough to play 1080p content, lost audio and video freezes result

So I try the following: copy the same file from PC to a hard disk attached to WD (via WiFi), wait for a minute, play the video with WD using local drives menu entry and... IT WORKS! I could see entire film with no issues.

So seems the unit is capable to play all these HD content on the fly with no issues, ¿software problem / limitation? I don't know.

¿What about implement a buffering message / icon (like all online video players) in case there is not enough data to play the movie on the fly?

Thanks in advance.
