Note - this is a tiny USB dongle - the bit that sticks out is actually smaller that the usb plug itself.

Look up the item number I've given below and you'll know as much as I do  ;)
Item number: 320452785064
Hope that helps...

I saw a different type of adaptor, a usb 2.0 to gigabit ethernet.
different brands, mostly unknown to me, except Belkin. http://www.belkin.com/IWCatProductPage.process?Product_Id=281799
would it be possible, at least in theory, that such a device could work?

edit: sorry, just found more posts with search here. nevermind.

MSI US300EX Lite  works fine too.

But the "Lite"-Stick-Version only does 150Mbit.

The external US300EX Version on a USB-Cable does 300Mbit (WLAN-N FullSpeed) :-)
Also does work very well on my WDTV Live.

My router which is a netgear DGN2000 Came with a wireless dongle WN111v2, however when i purchased my media box I also purchased a seperate Netgear dongle which is an EVAW111, This dongle appears to be exactly the same as the one that came with my router except its black whereas the one that came with my router is white. after trying them both out they both work perfectly.
