In a perfect world, opening the DVD iso would simply mount it as if it was loaded in a regular DVD player. Some DVD's have pretty cool menus, like Rammstein's Völkerball DVD or "O Brother Where Art Thou". Come to think of it, if DVD ISO's were 100% supported, my Denon DVD 1910 would be on eBay within minutes.

I'm currently looking for replacements for my wdtv live.  I can't re-rip my entire library.  I also do not want to try to extract individual television episodes from dvd's.  XBMC can do this, and it is free.  Getting support for menus and for movies just ripped as vob's doesn't seem like too much to ask for.
