its the grey background when entering a reply or new post
perhaps just a couple skin choices.
i have no idea if this is hard to implement
i have just seen a lot of selection in other boards
maybe it requires a shit load of work to implement
in which case, grey on grey textboxes will have to do :)

Hey guys!

I know the gray box for text entry sucks.  I have custom code which is in this template so I cannot easily change the overall "blue" theme.  I will see if I can't surgically change the gray in the entry box however.  No promises though!  I am not a CSS expert  :)

I'm not on my own computer, so I can't test this extensively, but you should be able to change this by modifying

http://wdtvforum.com/main/Themes/MegaPolis/style.css

which says:

Code: [Select]
input, textarea, button
{
color: #000000;
font-family: verdana, sans-serif;
border: 1px solid #2b2b2b;
background: url(images/form.gif) #686868 repeat-x;
}

change the color code on background from #686868 to something lighter...
this would change all standard input boxes etc...

of course, you also have this gradient which would then not look so good in combo with the new color. So that would need to be changed also, but then that would affect all your buttons...

more surgical would be to modify

Code: [Select]
/* The main post box - this makes it as wide as possible. */
.editor
{
width: 96%;
background: #cccccc;

}

or so... and then add something similar for the subject line

Code: [Select]
/* The subject box */
subject
{
background: #cccccc;
}

I didn't test this, so maybe I missed some cascading rules, but this could work

Thanks for the CSS work. I think I got it.  As long as I didn't fuck anything else up!
