Hello All,

I'm actually an IT guy (unix) but I've always been kinda wary of media and video stuff, not entirely sure why. But anyway, I'm excited about getting WD TV doing what I want and what I want is this:

I have an external usb drive full of movies/music/pictures and I know WD TV does this just fine. However, in addition I'd like to be able to watch full episodes and shows on hulu and I have netflix. It'd be nice to be able to watch full episodes on sites like nbc.com.

Question is, is there custom/homebrew firmware somewhere that would allow me to do this? The goal is to get rid of cable altogether, can't afford it.

I was going to go the netbook or asus b202 route, whats the difference between those and WD TV?

Thanks all, great forum btw.
