Lilibabe this is a great theme. I am using the wdtv.bin, but I would like to use the osd.bin but it will not work for some reason. I was using wdlxtv and I am just supposed to put the osd.bin onto a hdd and turn it on with it plugged in right? Do I need to install anything prior to this? I would love to use this. Please help, thanks.

Normally, there's nothing more to do to make it working.

Try to power off/on the WDTV, try to rename lilibabe.osd.bin to osd.bin

Hi,
As there are some memory issues with OSD Mods and MSheet.app.bin, I made a lighter skin.
look here http://wdtvforum.com/main/index.php?topic=1645.msg21724#new for more info.
This is for test and if it solve problems I will release MSheet.
So please give it a try and let me know...(On MSheet thread)

It's already updated because 1.03.01 "official" is exactly the same as 1.03.01 beta.

Yea I tried that already. Do I need any apps installed, and should I have it on its own flash drive by itself? I really want to use this theme, its beautiful.

the hard drive you put this on, is it one big partition?
if the drive is always on with the wdtv and that is where your apps / custom firmware is, it should be on a 2GB or less FAT32 partition at the front of the drive..

the osd should be with the other apps and / or custom firmware, as noted above, on the front of the drive in a small FAT32 partition or on a small flash drive.

small being 2GB or less, there have been lots of reports of trouble with anything over 2GB, some it works for, some it doesn't, 2GB or less is playing it safe is all..

cheers and good luck ,it is worth the trouble to get this working!

beautiful job lilibabe!
You laugh because Iím different, I laugh because youíre all the same.

Oops, I posted this question to another thread by mistake, so I'll try again here.

Lilibabe - What is the current resolution for video posters in thumbnail view?  The resolutions you list in the release post are for 6x2 and 3x1, but the version of your S&A OSD that I am using has 5x2.  Thanks!

It's 5x2 thumbnails, I think 6x2 and 3x1 was for v1 ; thumbnails are 180x240 pixels.

Excellent, thanks a lot.  The auto-resizing works, but it looks awfully pixelated.  I know it's just eye-candy, but I like it to look good.  Makes browsing a digital library a lot more enjoyable.

By the way, thanks for the excellent OSD replacements!  I haven't tried Minimalistic yet, but I am excited to see how it looks on the big screen.

Which version are you using ?

Quality in 180x240 px (2x5 or 2x6 thumbnails) is quite good but it degrades in 360x480 px (1x3 thumbnails).

I am using the one based on 1.02.11.  I have been sizing them incorrectly with MSG, and that's my own fault.  I thought the 2x5 posters were bigger than the 2x6 ones, and I have been trying to find the right size.  Turns out I should have been using 180x240 the whole time.  Thanks again for the info!

Hi,

I installed the latest WDTVXL and LaurentG
after install of the WDTVXL i installed LaurentG.
after that i got the thumbnail setting etc and a fresh background (purple with blue).
i placed the lilibabe minimalistic.osd on a stick and it loaded fine.
No i have NO backgrounds at my moviessample folder (did work with the default LaurentG).
What can i do to let the backdrops work with minimalistic?

Thanks for any help!
