Merci beaucoup pour la version en Espagnol, et aussi pour le patch. On va voire si je peux mettre ça dans 1.02.07 (I'm still fighting with Ubuntu and the "mount" command  :-\)

Je je je... pas pour le Google Translator. Je parle un peu françoise par-ce que je vais souvant à Paris pour travail... mais mon françoise écrit n'est pas tres bon, desolée :-)

Actually I'm achieved to "mount" both firmwares (1.02.07 and yours based in 1.02.10) but when I try to copy the XML and image files, a message that the files are read-only and cannot be copied appears. I'll investigate because in this way I'm learning Linux but if I'n not able to do this thank you for your suggestion to contact you.

@Papalapa : in order to copy files, files must be r/w. To do this :

# rsync -avHS dir_1/* dir_2/

where dir_1 is the directory where you mounted wdtv.bin and dir_2 the directory where will take place the copy in r/w mode

@virgilgili : ok, done.

@peccavi : if you're using the "regular" firmware (wdtv.bin, original or my mod), there's no support for apps, this it to say, no movie sheets... I already tried to integrate apps in my mod, but I don't know how and I didn't get the help I need.

maybe you could communicate with b-rad or zorander.

or is it possible to implement your osd-files in a ext3-boot firmware?

Zorander gives no sign of life, b-rad is not very present too... Where are elmarweber, rezmus, and all other guys ?

Second solution seems to be more possible ! But as i'm not using ext3-boot or WDLXTV, i can't test...

For WDLXTV, last versions includes the possibility to choose between different schemes for browsing thumbnails, so it signifies more work too... not too much but for now it's not my priority !

Is it possible to change the order of the video icons?  Like I would rather that the first icon be "Folders" instead of "All Videos" when selecting the Videos tab.

I tried to change it in file 'home.xml' but it doesn't seem to work... in fact, the third icon becomes the default selected icon, but it's not clickable (and the text at the bottom right corner indicates 'all videos', not 'by folder') ! instead, you have to move the cursor (right or left) then re-select the right icon...

I'm currently using (testing I guess) lilibabe's OSD mod on ext3-boot (v0.9.2) with no major issues.

Only one minor compatibility issue with appletrailerfs - I've lost the blue 'selection' rectangle so the only way to know which movie/icon you currently have selected is by the name that is displayed on screen.

Question:
How do I edit the lilibabe.osd.bin file?  I'm a Windows user.  Do I need a special program to edit .bin files?
I'd like to get my screensaver back.  Thanks!

I'm a Windows user too, i installed VirtualBox with Ubuntu on it. Operations to mount the .bin file could be find here in this forum.

I could use some more help here.

1.  I installed Ubuntu on a spare computer (first time I've seen Linux, so bare with me)
2.  Followed instructions from b-rad's website on mounting the osd.bin
3.  Then tried to copy my .png into the mounted lilibabe.osd.bin, but got the error:

cp: cannot create regular file `/tmp/osd/image/screen_saver.png': Read-only file system

4. Searched around the internet for a solution.  chmod 777 did nothing for me.  Came across some articles suggesting this could be caused by an error in the .bin file.

This is a lot of work just to get the screensaver back, but its a good experience.  Any advice would be great.  Thanks.
