MediaMAll-Dlink-Active-server

 all movies.vob become movies.vob.m3u

Playon is also MediaMall didn't check it since I can't get share to work with it...

Tversity Pro
  DVD_FILES  folder   stayed video_xx.vob
  MOVIES      folder   stayed movie.mpg
                             movie.vob became movie.mpg

If this is an indication it looks like there will be a lot of server / djmount compatability  probs

I don't use these for local files, but I do see the problem with Tversity when viewing online stuff and it doesn't return a file size... maybe that's similar to the problem you are seeing. I've set it to just fake it and give 8GB in these cases here:

http://www.mediafire.com/file/wmnk2xz11ki/djmount-large5.zip

Tried a few online videos and it seems to work fine for the most part, but there were some videos like the BBC that wouldn't play - I don't know if it's Djmount or Tversity. Tversity itself crashes/dies randomly for me (even before this)...

My WDTV is listed as "0000000000" in the network. Does anyone know how can i configure this?
WDTV + D-Link DWA-110-A1
- ext3-boot-0.9.2 + wireless-mod-0.3.app.bin
- opt.bin-0.2.zip

Thx cow

I will try the newer file to night maybe...

The biggest fault I have had is Tversity loose connection  and I have to reboot pc to get connection  back
,,but as I think about it Dlink-medialounge and active setvr have done the same ....

I have no luck playing online stuff,,,, big delays
I have a cable modem ,,,,and only suscribe to 3mbps,,,
not sure where delay is ... modem --> pc  or pc-->media server-->wdtv or dsm520

djmount-large-5 seems to work about the same for me.....

Another Note,,,,,, Just what do you want the WDTV to do....

For me:    1>    I want to play my windows/share
2>   I want to play internet streams

  #1 appears to be complete

#2 can be achieved using a media streamer [several flaky flavors available ]

so for the simple minded like me I would be happy with a small linux browser app for
the wdtv that could connect to hulu/youtube etc ,, and play the files.....

The remote control might be a prob,,,maybe it could emulate a mouse?????

Is there a browser for the wdtv ?????

JUST A THOUGHT............

Can anybody either reload the links for cow's djmount-large-5 (invalid or deleted file in mediafire) or send it to my mail, perezem@gmail.com?
Thanks
