Had to unplug and reset every time I wanted to watch anything.  Was going to buy a new one then found out no Netflix from these forums.  Got a Roku stick ($59) and installed Plex media server on my PC.  Watching Netflix and all the content on my PC effortlessly.  Sign in is a breeze compared to WDTV Live which decides not to accept you once in a while.  I might go back later but for now sticking with the Roku stick.  Only downside it doesn't have a USB port.

My old WDTV Live SMP is great for browsing network shares...but useless for anything else.
I can cast YouTube from my tablet or PC...but it needs a restart after every YouTube session...

You can cast straight from Windows with any video file...which is handy.

Android TV and a Chromecast are on my main TV these days though.
