Hi - upgraded my system to 2.02.32 last week and ever since I can't play movies with subtitles.
I have subtitles "on" by default.
When a movie starts which has subtitles - I see that subtitles are "Off" when the movie starts. I press the "subtitle" button option however this doesn't turn the subtitles on.
It seems the new firmware has broken this - or is there another way of enabling?
Does anyone else have this issue?
Thanks

Is YouTube working for you?

I downgraded back to 2.01.86 because the YouTube reboot problem was back...and some mp4s wouldn't play anymore.

Didn't check subtitles...just downgraded pretty quick.

Hi - not sure what you mean by container (the movies I've tested with are .avi's that's what you mean, and I think I had one which was .mp4 which also didn't work).
Subtitles are .srt (named exactly same as .avi file).
This used to work no problem on old code.

I can't role back as I don't have an older version of the firmware anywhere - does anyone have a location where this can be downloaded from?
Cheers

Older firmware from Dec 2013 (v2.01.86) is still listed on Softpedia.

I rolled back just to get YouTube working again.

Yes, AVI and MP4 are containers but since we're talking about external SRTs, they run fine for me on 2.02.32. Still,

mkv's work ok with srt's.
Just my avi and mp4's don't - strange.
Thanks for the links.

PS - I don't use youtube on wdtv. If I get a chance to test before roll back I will update.
Thanks
