Ok, at finally i got the dwa-140 B2 to works.
But i have an strange collateral two problems that i want to show you.
First the code:

Code: [Select]
usb=/boot

# Copy the driver config file, required as i have seen in the wireless-mod-rt-app.bin
WLAN_CFG=RT2870STA.dat
cp $usb/$WLAN_CFG /etc

# Install the required module
insmod $usb/modules/rt3070sta.ko

# network parameters
HOST=WDTV
WORKGROUP=ARENA
DHCP=no
IP=10.1.9.10
GW=10.1.9.1
NM=255.0.0.0
DNS1=87.216.1.65
DNS2=87.216.1.66
MTU=1492

SUPPRESS_OTHERS=yes

I am connected but, samba doesnt works and also the telnet command doesn't attend to

Code: [Select]
telnet wdtv
but works if i use the device lan ip...

Code: [Select]
telnet 10.1.9.10
With the zydas driver both things works fine so i can't understand where exist the difference ?
See the fact that i don't use the app.bin because with it the results are just the same, so i preferred to use the 'insmod' and copy directly the config file. But i can't understand what difference happends in order to doesn't obtains the samba to works and also the device doesn't reply when i call it by its hostname 'wdtv'.

Also see the fact that we don't need to use 'ifconfig' or 'iwconfig' because the first is used in '/etc/hotplug/net.agent'. For that reasson the device get connected to inet and also to the lan.

Need help to understand the difference.

I use ext3-boot with '1.03.10fix' root.bin.

thx in advance
