HI guys, i am trying to optimize and modding the webserver-addons.
Several of its features doesn't works or works bad.

So first thing i need to know is if exists a way to determine 'via console' what title, song or video, it is just being played by the device ?

thx in advance

Imporant speed up improvement on the track selected !

ok, i have obtained important improvements doing some modifications and optimizations.
Now the system is able to reach the song that we want to play in a few seconds.
Just drop 52 songs in 5 seconds and it is able to play the song that we selected without having mistakes.

But in order to obtain better results i really need to know if is possible to know what song it is played by the WDTV but using the console.

i am trying to use the php class called 'SimpleXMLElement' but an error message says the class doesn't exists.

The configure command for the php that comes with the opt.bin is the follow:

Code: [Select]
    Configure Command    './configure' '--host=mips-sel-linux' '--target=mips-sel-linux' '--prefix=/apps/webserver' '--bindir=/apps/webserver/bin' '--sbindir=/apps/webserver/bin' '--mandir=/apps/webserver/share/man' '--enable-fastcgi' '--enable-discard-path' '--enable-force-cgi-redirect' '--enable-sockets' '--with-config-file-path=/apps/webserver/etc' '--without-pear' '--without-iconv' '--without-mysql' '--without-sqlite' '--without-pdo-sqlite' '--without-mysql' '--without-apxs' '--without-apxs2' '--disable-libxml' '--disable-dom' '--disable-xml' '--disable-simplexml' '--disable-xmlwriter' '--disable-xmlreader'

how can i change the --disable-simplexml to --enable-simplexml

thx in advance

Its been a while, if I remember correctly the file
currently being played are displayed via ports.
I think this is possibly due to some DLNA feature?
You can use netstat or lsof to view the wdtv ports.

I think, I connected via a Telnet/RAW, you should get this character that keeps changing and once you select the corresponding media file you will see it displayed.
(ports might vary)

Lucky you, I still have my notes!!!
If i remember correctly
ports (50000 - 69999) are for video

tcp        0      0 localhost.localdomain:61549 localhost.localdomain:58354 TIME_WAIT
