Hi,

I have the newest version (2011) of the WD TV Live and I have the newest firmware installed.
I experience a problem with this firmware and the previous one (not sure about the firmwares before).

I connected the WD TV Live to my Denon receiver with an optical cable (digital output through optical cable).
With certain MKV files the DD5.1 audio is 'stuttering'. Approx. every three seconds I hear the audio for have a second.
If I send the audio through the HDMI cable to my TV, there is no problem, but in this case I don't have Dolby Digital 5.1 audio.

Do you guys experience the same problem?
Did I make a mistake in the settings section?
Hope to hear from you.

Regards,
Rob.

Check the mediainfo for your files. See if they have anything in common such as a high number of reference frames. If the files have no characteristics in common, I would next try borrowing another receiver to if the playback problem happens only on the Denon. If they only play poorly on the Denon, maybe you contact them for assistance with the issue.
