After several weeks without my net mounts not working & having to use Network Shares I finally realised what was wrong. I had installed a new router & changed all my static IP address's.

So, I went into the Web Frontend of the WD TV live, entered the file manager, navigated to /conf & tried to edit the IP address's in the net.mounts file.

However, I cannot edit the file as it seems to be locked. (see picture)

What am i missing?? Its been years since I set net mounts up & cant remember how i did it!!

Cheers.

You should try set it up using a telnet client, like putty. No problems there.

But, you can find more information here http://wiki.wdlxtv.com/Net.mounts

Telnet works good and you can also use the configurator in the WebFrontEnd to do those changes.

@RavRob:
1. Why are you using rsize
2. Are the codes after the /tmp/mnt/... hard drive identifiers?
