Need some help here.

Problems:
1. Cant play alot of mkv files, seems that is a know issue for older MKV, (didnt know that at first),
2.  Of I reboot the device, (pull the power)  when it comes back up, i frequently get a screen that is greenish, instead of blue.
3.  I tryed the reset button on the side.  Now in the folder view, I only have 4 icons across and all my move sheets have disappeared.

Is this fubar?

current version:   1.02.21  WDLXTV_LIVE-0.4.2.2

Do I need to upgrade the WD firmware, I see the WD current ver is - 1.06.15 (8/2011) amd then apply the custom firmware

I need some direction

HELP     Please.

1.02.21 based firmware has issues with some MKV files that have header compression enabled.  If you want to get rid of that problem there are a couple of ways.  One is to upgrade to 1.05.04 based WDLXTV which handles header compression on those MKV files.  The other if you wish to remain with 1.02.21 based firmware so you can keep using plugins is to remux those bad MKV files to disable the header compression.

If you wish to upgrade to a newer delux version you don't need to upgrade to 1.06.* first.  You can apply the new custom firmware over your older version.  It will replace it completely.
