Title: WDTV Software Update 1.02.03
Post by: jayallan on April 08, 2009, 11:01:39 PM
Time for a new update.   :)

As with 1.02.02 this is a PRE RELEASE which means it is not necessarily bug less.

It is however an OFFICIAL RELEASE from WD.

Here is the direct link  http://support.wdc.com/download/wdtv/WDTV_FW_1_02_03.zip (http://support.wdc.com/download/wdtv/WDTV_FW_1_02_03.zip)

This is a prerelease version of the firmware. Feel free to install it but be aware this is beta firmware so use it at your own risk.
If you are not comfortable with this, please wait for the final version.

This should fix a few of the new issues that were introduced in 1.02.01

Enjoy!

      USB drive's main directory
   2. Turn the WD TV on and connect your USB drive
   3. Use the remote control to select SETTINGS from the home screen
   4. Highlight the firmware upgrade icon, and press ENTER on the remote
   5. You will be prompted to perform the firmware upgrade. Select OK and press ENTER.
      This will restart the system
   6. After restarting, the system automatically enters firmware upgrade mode
   7. Once the update process is completed, the HD media player will restart again
