Hi, not sure what section to post this in but.........
My HDTV  media player shows different file names on the tv than the computer.
Example, I have Sons of Anarchy season 1 to 6. When I connect my hard drive to the computer, the file name is Episode 01 02 03 04 etc etc. How ever when its connected to the wdtv player on the tv all files in the season 1 folder show up as Sons of Anarchy Season 01, Sons of Anarchy Season 01, Sons of Anarchy Season 01 etc etc for all 13 episodes?
Season 2-6 are all ok?

Any ideas?

Thanks
marc

Check the file with Mediainfo if the TITLE  tag is set.

This will caused by the metadata (the xml file associated with the episode). Each episode should have an xml file, with the same file name. This will contain the TV-Show name. You can manually edit it (xml is basically a text file), or use a metadata generated. I prefer "Hubflow", but "Media Center Master" is good as well. This will give you the accurate TV-Show name.
